Who we are
Ezysplit (ezysplit.com) is operated by Webster Solutions, India ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use the website.
What we collect

We do not ask for passwords. Sign-in works with a one-time code emailed to you.
How we store it
- Split titles, people's names, amounts and your name and email are encrypted in our database.
- Sign-in codes are stored only as a one-way hash and expire after 10 minutes.
- Data is hosted on servers managed by our hosting provider. Backups are kept for 14 days.
Sharing a split
A split is visible to anyone who has its link. The link is long and random, but treat it like you would any private link: share it only with the people in the split. Anyone with the link can add or edit expenses.
Cookies
We set a session cookie and, when you sign in, a "remember me" cookie so you stay signed in for 30 days. We store a small flag in your browser when you dismiss the cookie notice. Analytics and advertising cookies are described below. Full details are in the Cookie Policy.
Analytics
Our own page-view counter sets no cookies and keeps only daily totals and a daily visitor count from a one-way hash that changes every day. We also use Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies to collect the pages you visit, your device and browser type, your approximate location and the referring website. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Split links are sent without their private group id. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We show ads from Google AdSense to keep Ezysplit free. Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure them. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. In regions where consent is required, Google shows you a consent choice before personalised ads are loaded. Other third parties
- Google Fonts, jsDelivr and cdnjs deliver fonts and scripts; they receive your IP address when your browser requests those files.
- Email delivery for sign-in codes is handled from our own mail server.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties except as described here or when required by law.
How long we keep it
- Splits and expenses: until you delete them or ask us to.
- Account (email, name): until you ask us to delete it.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
- Sign-in code records: deleted within a day of expiry.
Your choices and rights
You can use Ezysplit without signing in. If you have an account you may ask us to show you, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing support@ezysplit.com. We reply within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your email and name; splits you created stay available to the people who have the link unless you ask us to remove them too.
Children
Ezysplit is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
