1. The service
Ezysplit is a free web tool for recording shared expenses and calculating who owes whom. It is provided by Webster Solutions, India ("we"). It is a calculator and a record-keeping aid; it does not move money, and it is not a bank, wallet or payment service.
2. Using Ezysplit
- You may create splits without an account. Signing in with your email lets you keep and revisit your splits.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the amounts and names you enter, and for who you share a split link with. Anyone with the link can view and edit that split.
- You must not use Ezysplit to harass anyone, to store content you have no right to store, to attempt to access other users' data, to send automated traffic, or to interfere with the service.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
3. Your content
The names, descriptions and amounts you enter remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so that the service works, including showing them to people you share a split with. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
4. Accounts
Sign-in uses one-time codes sent to your email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure; anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
5. Advertising
Ezysplit is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertisers are not endorsed by us. How advertising cookies work is described in the Cookie Policy.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Ezysplit available but do not guarantee it. We may change, suspend or withdraw features at any time. We recommend you settle up and keep your own record of important amounts.
7. No warranty
The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that calculations are error-free or that the service is uninterrupted. You should check any amount before paying it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of money, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Ezysplit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to ₹1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that breaks these terms. You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
